The New England Patriots’ 28-13 loss to the New Orleans Saints felt like a blowout despite it being a one-score game deep into the fourth quarter.
That’s because, for much of the game, the score didn’t reflect how badly New England was being outplayed. Well, that and New Orleans not being to buy a field goal.
For pretty much the entire first half, the Patriots were toothless on offense and were outgained as a team by Alvin Kamara for much of the day.
With that said, there were flashes of brilliance from Mac Jones and the receivers — as well as some absolute disasters. Meanwhile, the defense played pretty well for most of the day.
Who’s to blame for the loss? Let’s hand out some grades.
